Poker at the club

I played poker at the club on Friday night  it started off not going to well what ever I had in my hand I was getting beat by a bigger kicker so I went back to playing only good high cards and than I got caught out betting on my bluff which worked out good for me because the next few hand that thought I had nothing and got paid off for that . I got delt pocket QQ's  I called a rase of 600 and the flop came down all low cards 5 8 10 he bet 600 so I rased 1200 he called and turn was a 10 than ne bet 4500 I call than the river card 2 with 3 hearts on the board up to me and I go all in with 47000 there was a Long  wait and this fella folds he's cards showing J10. Wow that was close he folded thinking  I had a flush  he asked to see my cards so I show hes head went down  shaking it I was luck that time.
From than on I had luck on my side and was taking people out left right and center went to the final table 3rd in chip lead with the chip leader sitting to my right which help because I knew what he was doing before I made a move. Out of the 6 people on the final table I took out 5 I did take a few bad move that did work out for me on the final and down to the final 3 I had around 350000. When we got there I felt like I was going to take this out  with some great moves and big chip lead I  finally  took it out with my Q8 up against J5 with a Q hitting on the turn. That was a great night and felt good winning and taking home $500 for the night.  After not making the final table for some time this has brought my confidence back up.

Christmas time 2011

Well for christmas this year i got this remote control helicopter from the wife and kids i have a small one and this one is bigger so it is good..

Poker at the rsl club

On the 20/12/2011 i played poker i started of playing well and went to the break with around 45 thousand which is good in the next half the cards where hitting and went to the next break with 125 thousand in the end i came 2nd pocked my self with $200 it was a good night.....

POKER AT THE CLUB...

Last night i went to play poker at the league's club 2/12/2011 $12 buy in . I did not start of too good from a starting stack of 5 thousand chips and losing about 2 thousand chips with big cards and not hitting till i got pocket AA and put in a raise of 1200 and got one caller he followed all the way i went all in on the turn and he called trying to hit his straight....... good for me because from than on i collected some good pots and lost some too lol... i had pocket AA 3 time that night and i won on all three good pots i took around 50 thousand chips to the final table which was very low to what other people had..... ended up coming in third with my AJ going down to A8 he hit the flush so in the end it was a good night and coming away with $160 because lately i have not been hitting and falling out early......

Poker i played on the 11th and 13th of october.

On Tuesday the 11th i played poker at the rsl club for $10 buy in for 5k chips this is the first time i have played poker in months it was good to get back into it. I did play well and was creative with the hand i was getting which for the first hour or so was not great. in the end i had got pocket 10s and only had a few thousand left with the blinds 1 thousand / 2 thousand so i went with it and went out with someone calling with AK and them hitting a A . I was up and down all night at the end i came in 11th. i was very happy the way i went.

On Thursday the 13th i went to the local pub for a buy in of $22 for 10k chips i was having a bad run with cards that night running in to trips a few time hitting my stack hard winning a few little pots till i tried to bluff a pot killing me big time. In the end i came up with pocket 10s and lost to AQ with a A coming on the turn to end my night early.

NPL Central West Quarterly Final poker

started play at 1pm today sunday 10.04.2011 i had a lot of playable hand and by the end 1 minute from the first break i won my first hand of the day i started with 20k thousand in chip so i was down to around 12k. after the break i made a few more hands so i did make up some chips to 105k than break time to change chips. i fell down to about 45k till i hit me AK which took me back up to good size stack a few hands later i had AQ and i raised and a nother player went all in it took me a bit to call and they over turned pocket 10s so 2 overs the flop came 2 A A 10 this was not a good it looked like my day was over the next one was 5 then the river card was a A that gave me 4 of a kind what a hit. that took me up to around 250k from than on i was hitting every think i took 3 player out at one with AQ. I went to the final table with 840k so by the time there was to of us it took 2 hands to win the tourmament..the last hand was A J up against A 8 and i won. it was a great day and i dont think my smile will come of my face for some time.

I played poker a last night was a good night played very well up to the break and i had 38,700 chips than after the break was just as good with going to the final table with 280,00 had some bad luck at that table with my cards not hitting still stayed strong and came in second to take home $300..
